The Voyager

The Voyager was a 10-week collaboration with Konfidential Dance Team at SCAD.

The objective was to build characters through exercises, improvisation, and collaborative experimentation. By introducing preliminary costume pieces and props early in the collaboration, the physical specifics of character were explored throughout the creative process. This allowed for puppets, masks, and costumes to develop simultaneously with the choreography and narrative, resulting in one effectively informing the other.

The process resulted in 3 characters: Big Head, The Voyager, and The Bat.
